A Race to Honor and Remember Irene
Join us for the First Annual Warriors of Hope: Irene’s 5K, a run/walk dedicated to honoring Irene’s legacy and raising awareness for stomach cancer. This event brings together runners, walkers, survivors, caregivers, and advocates to support patients and families affected by this disease.
Irene bravely fought stomach cancer, and though she is no longer with us, her family has come together to continue her mission of spreading awareness and supporting those impacted by stomach cancer.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Hope for Stomach Cancer, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing education, support, and advocacy for stomach cancer patients and their families.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the race to allow time for check-in, packet pickup (if applicable), and warm-up.
Will the race be timed?
Yes, the race will be officially timed, and results will be posted online after the event.
Can I walk instead of run?
Absolutely! Participants of all fitness levels are welcome to run or walk at their own pace.
Are strollers or pets allowed on the course?
Absolutely! Participants of all fitness levels are welcome to run or walk at their own pace.
What happens if it rains?
The event will take place rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe. Any weather-related updates will be communicated via email and social media.
Can I volunteer at the event?
